Season 7 Premiere This Wednesday
10/4/2010 by Will
New York, NY – “Dog the Bounty Hunter”, A&E’s hit Real-Life series, is returning with a brand new season beginning Wednesday, October 6, at 9PM ET/PT, with a special one-hour premiere. Season Seven will be a special one for Dog, Beth and the Chapman clan as they will cross the 200th episode threshold, further proving to be one of the most successful long-running franchises on television.
The world’s most famous bounty hunter, Duane “Dog” Chapman, comes back to give fans action-packed, high-stakes hunts from Hawaii to Colorado, tracking down fugitives along side his wife Beth and fearless family-based posse. In the Season Seven premiere, Dog’s latest fugitive doesn’t think small when it comes to illegal drugs - he was carrying almost a pound of methamphetamine when he was first arrested. Now he’s on the run with his pregnant girlfriend on the high plains of Colorado. Dog and his team track him through rundown trailer parks, junkyards, and finally, to a desolate country road where they have to make a very risky nighttime bust.
In its sixth season, “Dog the Bounty Hunter” averaged 2.1 viewers per premiere episode.
“Dog the Bounty Hunter” is produced by Hybrid Films for A&E Network. Rick Smigelski is the Supervising Producer. David Houts and Daniel Elias serve as the executive producers for Hybrid Films. Robert Sharenow, Colleen Conway and Fred Grinstein serve as the A&E executive producers.
